Phase 2 rehabilitation and development of the Ardsley Wildlife Sanctuary, Abington Township, Montgomery County. The proposed project will: extend the ADA accessible path to the existing basin; address erosive runoff with natural stormwater features (vegetated swales, a rain garden, and spillway), remove and mange reemergence of invasive plant material, restore forest, riparian and meadow habitat, with native plants and add two observation points (ADA elevated walkway and rain garden observation slab) and interpretive signage. The project site is located on Maple Avenue with vehicular access. All questions are to be submitted through PennBid by 12:00 P.M. on February 25, 2025 A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond for the faithful performance of the Contract in the sum of 100% of the total Contract amount. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a payment bond in the sum of 100% of the total Contract amount. Maintenance Bond (10% of Contract Award Price) The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township.
