This Project consists of reviewing the findings of the WWMP to develop the overall project scope, gathering field survey, preparing design plans, developing an O&M manual, bidding documents, and completing construction management and administration during construction of the improvements. The Town intends to complete the engineering tasks of this project in phases as follows: Phase 1 - WWMP Review, Survey, Design, O&M Manual, and Bidding Documents Review the findings of the WWMP and develop an initial construction schedule Gather field survey necessary to complete the design of the Project, including but not limited to topographic survey, existing lagoon facilities, street and alley improvements, existing utility locations, and existing property improvements (i.e., fences, structures, etc.) Prepare preliminary design plans and preliminary O&M manual for review with Town Staff, utility owners, and property owners, and prepare preliminary cost estimates to assist in construction phasing decisions All Technical Questions Must Be Submitted in Writing (Email Preferred) Prior to Close of Business on Friday, October 27, 2023,1:00p.m. The Town of Byron (Town) is Seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Packages From Qualified and Experienced Individuals, Firms, and/or Teams to Complete All Work Associated With the Survey, Design, Bidding, and Construction Administration of the Wastewater Treatment Immediate Needs Project (Project). The Project Encompasses Upgrades to the Existing Wastewater Treatment Operations and Facilities as Well as Replacement of Portions of the Sewage Collection System as Funding Allows. The Town of Byron Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Statements of Qualifications; to Waive Any Irregularities, Informalities, or Defects in Any Documents Which Shall Be Deemed in the Best Interests of the Town; and to Negotiate a Scope of Work and Fee Proposal With Any Selected Proponent.
