Working plans call for the addition of a theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the renovation of a 44,871-square-foot theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.
A comprehensive renovation and addition to Lipinsky Hall including music performance space, rehearsal spaces, classrooms, offices, and support spaces for use by Music Department and other University offices. Lipinsky Hall is located in the central core of campus in Asheville, North Carolina. This renovation also includes heavy Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Structural Steel packages. As of October 21, 2025, a construction manager has been selected and has scheduled an outreach meeting. Project Information and Outreach Session.
