Renovation of a mixed-use development in Madison Heights, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of Work: Removal and replacement - Removal of all existing roofing and flashings to the structural decking. - Replace or repair any deteriorated wood nailers & decking. - Mechanically attach bottom layers to structural metal deck. Taper at all drains. Minimum taper of 24 ft x 24 ft. - Fully adhere specified cover board insulation in asphalt adhesive at a rate of 30 gallons per 100 sq. ft. - Fully adhere composite base ply in asphalt adhesive at a rate of 25 gallons per 100 sq. ft. - Fully adhere 3-ply Type IV fiberglass ply sheets in asphalt adhesive at a rate of 25 gal per 100 sq. ft. - Apply flood coat of modified asphalt adhesive at a rate of 50 gallons per 100 sq. ft. and embed specified gravel surfacing. - Fully adhere elastomeric flashings at all primed curbs, expansion joints and perimeter edges in modified asphalt adhesive and strip-in vertical and horizontal laps. - Install new 4 lb. lead flashings at drains and soil pipes. - Install new metal flashings at specified termination points per NRCA and SMACNA details
