Question Deadline 11/09/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Ref. #: ITB-SWE-24-01 Intent to Bid Due Date: Nov 27th 2023, 2:00 PM EST Any questions concerning the intent, meaning and interpretations of the bid documents including the draft agreement, shall be requested in writing through the City's Procurement Portal Failure to do so shall result in rejection of the bid submittal as unresponsive. The Work consists of the construction of a new sludge dewatering building, installing sludge dewatering presses, sludge feed pumps, polymer feed system, filtrate pumping system, all association piping and fittings, and all associated electrical and control systems. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision, and any other items required for the construction of the Palm Coast Wastewater Treatment Facility No.1 Biosolids Dewatering System. Total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion for the Project is one hundred and eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed," with an additional sixty (60) consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. A Bid Bond shall accompany each Bid if the Bid amount is one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater. The Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the City as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his/her Bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid closing time. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Successful Bidder and will enter into a written Agreement with the City and furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in an amount equal to the Contract Price. The Material and Workmanship Bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price as adjusted on the Final Application for Payment. The Bidder will forfeit their Bid Security if they fail to do so. All Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
