Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) is accepting sealed bids for the multiple school (NCMS, WMES, MFWC, WHES, WMIES) Fire Alarm Replacement Projects Cabarrus County Schools has the right to reject any or all bids. deadline for questions is 5:00pm November 14th, 2023. Questions will be addressed via Addenda no later than 5 days prior to the bid date. This project will involve the replacement of the existing fire alarm system, including all associated components and wiring. The installation of a new fire alarm system will be carried out in compliance with local building codes and regulations. This includes the placement of smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, alarm control panels, and emergency notification devices (voice system) throughout the entire school facility, including classrooms, corridors, administrative areas, and common spaces. Testing and commissioning of the new system will be performed to ensure its functionality and reliability. Training for school personnel in the operation and maintenance of the new fire alarm system will also be required to be provided. Throughout the project, safety measures will be strictly adhered to, and the work will be scheduled to minimize disruption to the school's daily activities.
