USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory intends to a to Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP under GSA contract # 47QSHA23D0018 for full coverage to include preventative , inspections and repairs of Simplex Fire Alarm System. The original system was purchased from SimplexGrinnell, which is now a subsidiary of Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP. The contract will be for base plus 4 option years. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible and no other supplies or will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by October 27, 2023 at 12:00 (CST). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
