Renovation of an educational facility in Plainville, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a certified check of Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of Bid. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required equal to the value of the contract. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570. The work under this Contract shall consist of the demolition of the existing boiler system and installation of a new boiler system and controls according to the specifications in the Bid documents. No Bid may be withdrawn until one hundred and twenty (120), calendar days after the date of the opening of the Bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bids: to reject any and all Bids; or to accept the Bid that in his judgement will be in the best interest of the Town of Plainville.
