Site work and paving for a civil project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, parts of any and all bids, and to waive technical errors or omissions in bids. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. The proposed construction consists of installing approximately 1,080 lineal feet of 6-inch, 5,700 lineal feet of 8-inch, and 1,300 lineal feet of 12-inch water main, including new hydrants, valves, and 650 lineal feet of 12-inch storm sewer including new manholes and laterals; and other miscellaneous items of work. The contract will include all work necessary to install the water main, install water service lines via directional drilling or open cut methods, reconnect existing water service lines, restore the roadway, and perform all restoration to return the area to its original condition. Any questions or clarifications concerning these specifications should be in writing and directed to the Purchasing Division at purchasing@joliet.gov.
