The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project includes the installation and start-up of a filtration system for the Birmingham Water Works Industrial water supply for the University of Alabama Birmingham Central Utility Plants. The work shall include, but not be limited to, installation of the water filtration system, site work, installation of equipment pads, installation of screen wall systems, installation of finishes, installation of pumps and piping systems, installation of power, lighting and controls circuits, installation of PLC controls and integration of new controls with the existing plant Rockwell FactoryTalk control system, filtration system start-up, filtration system testing adjusting and balancing and training for UAB personnel. Work shall proceed in a manner so as not to interfere with the occupants and operations of the Central Plants. Work times shall be coordinated with the UAB Central Plants.
