INSTRUCTION FOR RESPONDING TO THIS BID 1. Vendors interested in bidding on the referenced items should read the entire document. The vendor must complete all sections of this document including the VENDOR DATA SECTION and sign where indicated. Your signature identifies your acceptance of all terms and conditions herein. 2. All vendors must fill in the prices being requested in the places and formats indicated. Scope of Work (SOW) The City of New Rochelle has determined that Stephenson Park will need new concrete top, lining of the court, 2 new official size plexiglass backboards, rims and pole structures supplied and installed. Court Specifications: Prepare existing surface for new concrete foundation, with an acrylic top and 2 layers of paint. Official Basketball lines to be painted white using Laykold court paint, court to be painted with the same Laykold court paint in a solid color TBD. Pole Structure Specifications: 7 gauge (3/16inch), Square poles / 6 x 6-inch diameter, Gussets: inground mounted, and Hinge anchor for in ground mount 2-3 feet deep and fill with concrete *All preparatory materials and painting tools shall be provided by selected contractor. *Selected contractor is responsible for clean up and properly disposing all unused materials Safety Requirements: o "The contractor must ensure that the entire area, including the construction or renovation site, is maintained in a safe condition at all times." o "Safety precautions and hazard mitigation measures must be implemented to protect workers, visitors, and the general public throughout the project." Compliance with Regulations: "The project must comply with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to construction or renovation work in the area." "Regular safety inspections and assessments will be conducted to ensure ongoing compliance with safety standards." Prevailing Wage All vendors submitting bids are required to conform to all current NYS prevailing wage laws, the City has applied for and has received a PRC number (2023003777) for this project. The successful vendor(s) is/are responsible for complying with all current labor rates and regulations throughout the duration of any contract resulting from this document.
