Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.

This Contract is for the roof replacement and renovation of MTA Light Rail storage building located at 1515 Cherry Hill Road in Baltimore, Maryland. The purpose of this project is a complete roof replacement and structural rehabilitation of the building that includes but not limited to: 1. Removal of the existing roofing system and replacement of any damaged roof deck; 2. Providing new single ply membrane roofing system with new tapered rigid insulation sloped 3/8" per foot; 3. Improving roof drainage by replacing existing drains and adding new overflow drainage system, new gutters and downspouts; 4. Creating roof expansion joint; 5. Removing and rebuilding the existing masonry parapets with a bond beam integrated with top courses of the existing CMU wall; 6. Adding structural steel wall reinforcement and creating new expansion joints in exterior masonry walls; 7. Repair cracks in the existing exterior masonry walls; 8. Replacement of the entrance canopy roof assembly. See Special Provisions for details. Project Cost Class : D - $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bid exceeding $100,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on a form furnished by the Administration in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. A performance and payment bond is required for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000. The performance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The payment bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Questions concerning this solicitation must be received no later than 11/17/2023 at the close of the business day. No interpretations other than written shall be binding on the Administration.
