Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bensenville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of December 5, 2024, awarded firm has been identified. The Village of Bensenville is seeking Phase III Professional Engineering Services for the Church Road and Main Street Resurfacing and Sidewalk Construction Project. These engineering services are utilizing local funds as well as funds from the federal Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STU); therefore, all work must be done in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Village standards. The qualified firm should be IDOT prequalified and should have the ability and experience in Phase III Construction Inspection; along with the ability to provide staff that has experience in the federal aid documentation process. The construction estimate for this improvement is $920,000, The anticipated construction schedule is for late Spring of 2024. The contract completion date is September 1, 2024 plus 5 working days. All questions shall be submitted electronically to Jeffrey Maczko on or before 12:00 pm on October 31, 2023. A response to all written questions received will be posted on the Village s website, no later than 3:00 pm on November 1, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
