Tree Removal for 2024 Sidewalk. The project includes removal of approximately 31 trees and restoration throughout the City of Kenosha. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
