Contractor's name and Alabama License number must be printed on the outside of each sealed bid. Bidder instructions, including pre-bid meeting and contractor questionnaire details, are provided in the bid documents. The scope of work includes the rehabilitation/painting of a Huntsville Utilities water tank (Pulaski Pike) with an additive alternate to pressure wash and perform minor repairs on another water tank (Chapman). The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the Water Tank Rehabilitation called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. The project must be complete within 90 days from the Notice to Proceed date. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond and insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. E-VERIFY - NOTICE - The Contractor shall submit in the bid package, the requested information included on the form, "Unauthorized Aliens Affidavit" as shown in the specifications.
