This request for qualifications seeks a professional engineering firm or team of consultants interested in assisting New Hanover County in developing a watershed plan for the Acorn Branch Watershed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Answers to Questions Thursday, November 16, 2023, An addendum summarizing all questions and answers will be posted to the County's website electronically. Instructions for submitting Statements of Qualifications and complete requirements and information may be obtained by visiting the County's website at electronically. Respondent shall maintain insurance from companies licensed to write business in North Carolina, with an A.M. Best rating of "A" or higher, and acceptable to County, of the kinds and minimum amounts specified below in the draft contract attached. (See Limits in Attached Draft Contract.) New Hanover County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Statements of Qualifications and to make the award which will be most advantageous to the County. The County reserves the right to accept and reject any and/or all statements of qualifications submitted, in whole or in part. The County reserves the right to negotiate any and all elements of the qualification statement by and with any consultants it deems suitable to carry out this project. New Hanover County has no obligation to award work based off this RFQ and reserves the right to re-advertise.
