Location: Elayn Hunt Correctional Center Automotive Service & Repair 6925 Highway 74 St. Gabriel, LA 70776 Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools and labor needed to remove one (1) boiler tank and one (1) buffer tank, and install one (1) new LAARS Mighty Therm 2 MT2V-0400 (400,000 BTU Input) boiler and one (1) new CEMLINE Model # V120SEB buffer tank. Requirements: o Remove existing boiler and buffer tank o Install one (1) new LAARS Mighty Therm 2 MT2V-0400 (400,000 BTU Input) o LAARS Mighty Therm 2 MT2V-0400 (400,000 BTU Input) to be: o Outdoor certified o Two (2) stage firing o CSD-1 Gas Train o LWCO o Pump Mounted o Outdoor Vent & Intake Air Terminals Included o Glass lined cast iron/copper/bronze trim (standard on water heaters) o Install one (1) new CEMLINE Model # V120SEB buffer tank o CEMLINE Model # V120SEB buffer tank to be: o One hundred twenty (120) gallon o Twenty-four (24) inches in diameter o Thirty and one-quarter (30-1/4) inches wide o Sixty (60) inches long o Pump mounted (any), TACO, Normal Water Pump o All utility hook ups are to be completed by vendor as well as install of pressure and temperature gauges o Boiler inspection and permits from state fire marshal are to be provided by vendor upon completion In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2165 A (1), a Contractors' License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction and/or Mechanical and/or Steam and Hot Water Heating in Buildings or Plants must appear on the bid opening envelope on all projects in the amount of $10,000.00 or more (and $1.00 or more if hazardous materials are involved). Failure to do so shall remove the bid from consideration. Boiler Installers License: In accordance with La. R.S. 49:950, any boiler installation with a minimum of two hundred thousand (200,000) BTUs, or a minimum of fifty (50) gallons, will require a Boiler Installers License from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office.
