Audio-visual system upgrades at the Serna Center including equipment replacement, re-cabling, system programming, and commissioning. This project is to be performed after normal business hours and weekends. The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking bids for qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the Serna Conference Rooms AV Equipment Upgrade project. The contractor shall provide all audio-visual equipment, enclosures, mounts, cabling, pathway, and accessories for a complete and fully operational audio-visual system. 2. The contractor shall provide all installation, commissioning, and programming to ensure seamless integration of all new components with the existing system. 3. The term "provide" shall mean to furnish, install, and make fully operational. 4. All existing equipment removed as part of the project shall be retained by the District. 5. The contractor shall touch up paint or replace ceiling tiles to match existing conditions for any areas of demolition or new installation. Scope of Work: 1. Provide a new projector, lens, and mount, at the existing projector location. 2. Provide a new wall mounted, fixed projection screen. 3. Provide a new Crestron Decora HDMI transmitter to replace existing. 4. Provide a new Crestron DM output card to replace existing. 5. Provide new ceiling speakers, a new audio amplifier, and cabling according to the speaker zoning plan. 6. Re-cable certain existing ceiling speakers according to the speaker zoning plan. 7. Provide new gooseneck microphones and microphone input plates at the dais and lectern, utilizing existing cabling. 8. Integrate the existing Assistive Listening Transmitter with the audio system. 9. Provide new Shure Microflex transmitter rechargeable batteries to replace existing. 10. Provide a new speaker timer system including control unit and LED displays. 11. Provide programming and commissioning to seamlessly integrate all new components with the existing systems, and correct certain identified errors with existing system operations. Detailed Project Scope: 1. Provide a new projector, Panasonic P/N PT-MX14KLUW, with lens Panasonic P/N ETEMW500, and mount Chief P/N VCTUW. Install at the existing projector mounting location above the dais. Rework the existing projector mounting pipe and ceiling tile penetration as required to accommodate the new projector. Connect signal and control (from the existing Crestron DM-4K-SCALER-C above T-bar) to the new projector 2. Provide a new wall mounted, fixed screen, Dalite P/N 23734, with custom dimensions 85"x151". Mount to fully cover the existing rear-projection screen. Fur out new screen from wall as required for a secure and flat installation. Exact mounting location to be field coordinated with the Project Manager. Remove the plywood panel, patch holes, and touch up paint. Remove the indicated lay-in light fixtures, safe-off the power and replace the ceiling tiles. All electrical modifications are to be performed by a licensed electrician
