Concrete & Brick Removal/Replacement and Complete Sidewalk Installation; SP-121 Letting No.: 8780 Authorizing Ordinance: 71862 Schedule Related Liquidated Damages Per Day: $250.00 per day Estimated Cost: $900,000.00 Bid Deposit: $22,725.00 The proposed Work includes Replacement of curbs, sidewalk, and other incidental construction in the public right of related to the City's 50/50 Sidewalk Program. Repairs can be located in any Ward throughout the entire City limits. All Work under this contract will be paid for in cash, based on monthly estimates of the Work completed, less a retained amount of five percent (5%). Final payment, including all retained percentages, will be made within ten (10) days after completion of all Work and final acceptance by the City. The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and the Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) (together the M/WBE) participation goal for this Letting is 24% MBE participation distributed as follows: 21% African American, 2% Hispanic American, 0.5% Asian American, and 0.5% Native American plus 11% WBE participation. M/WBE participation level is based on the base bid and any alternates accepted. On contracts with an estimated cost of $300,000 or less, a 5% bid discount will be applied to M/WBE Bidders during the evaluation process; the actual contract amount shall not be lowered. The Bidder must pay $40 to submit a bid through the Bid Express Service. Monthly subscriptions are available. Proof of M/WBE project goal attainment shall be submitted at bid opening and documented on the Section 004310 M/WBE Utilization Plan Forms. If the Bidder fails to meet the participation goals, the Bidder must make a Good Faith Effort to meet the participation goals.
