The purpose of this contract is to provide the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation and incidentals necessary for the following: installation of sub-slab depressurization (SSD) systems to mitigate potential chemical vapor intrusion from the subsurface into an existing building, to conduct the associated pre-mitigation diagnostic testing and post-mitigation diagnostic testing to determine SSD system requirements (number of suction points, fan type, etc.), and to evaluate system effectiveness post installation. Installation of sub-membrane depressurization systems and crawl space ventilation systems is also included. The above services also generally include the following: sealing potential vapor intrusion entry points; conducting backdraft testing on combustion appliances; evaluating the presence of and need for outside make-up air to combustion appliances; constructing internal and/or external pipe chases to conceal and/or insulate system piping. The term of this contract is anticipated to be from December 1, 2023, through November 30, 2025, with the option to extend up to an additional three (3) years in increments determined by the State. The estimated total dollar value of the contract for one year is $20,000 to $175,000. However, this shall not be construed as either the minimum or maximum amount. It shall also be understood and accepted by the responder that any quantities shown in this solicitation are estimated quantities only and impose no obligation upon the State either minimum or maximum. Award Any award that may result from this solicitation will be based upon the total accumulated points as established in the solicitation. The State reserves the right to award this solicitation to a single Responder, or to multiple Responders, whichever is in the best interest of the State, providing each Responder is in compliance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The State reserves the right to accept all or part of an offer, to reject all offers, to cancel the solicitation, or to re-issue the solicitation, whichever is in the best interest of the State.
