WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Waco ISD invited residents to sign a beam that will be used in the construction of Kendrick Elementary school. Scope of work consists of Package 2 of the new construction of Kendrick Elementary School, approximately 87,586 sq ft. As of August 8th, 2024, this project has started construction. Construction is expected to be completed by August 2025. Trades involved are concrete, masonry, metals, wood/plastics/composites, thermal & moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, special construction, conveying equipment, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety & security. Package 1 included demolition and site work.
