The County desires for this project to be completed within six months of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Greenville County reserves the right to reject any response that contains prices for individual items or services that are inconsistent or unrealistic when compared to pricing of like responses; or ambiguous responses which are uncertain as to terms, delivery, quantity, or compliance with specifications may be rejected or otherwise disregarded if such action is in the best interest of the County. This project requires a Bid Bond and a Performance/Payment Bond. Proposers shall submit with their proposal, a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price. This bond may be in the form of Bid Bond from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), electronically through Surety 2000, Certified Check, Cashier's or Bank Money Order of any national or state bank and shall be made payable to Greenville County. Proposals submitted without being accompanied by any of the foregoing as required, may be considered informal and may be rejected. Any proposal accompanied by a bid bond not properly executed in the opinion of the County Attorney, may be rejected.
