The work includes construction of a new Fire Station, including approximately 11,500 sf of enclosed space with related sitework, including landscaping, irrigation, paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, drainage, etc. All trades to be incorporated in the general contract. The project is being constructed for the City of Tuscaloosa, which is the awarding authority. Notification of successful respondents will be issued no later than 5:00pm CST on November 15, 2023. Only General Contractors who have completed the prequalification process within the stated time limits, and which are properly licensed in accordance with criteria established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors under the Provision of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama 1975, as amended, will be considered for the Work of this Project. This project qualifies for the Sales Tax Saving Program and the owner intends to implement this program.
