Reference Number 0000333435 The County Of Albany Is Seeking Proposals For Construction Inspection Services For Cr405 (Sunset Hill Rd.) Over Eight Mile Creek Culvert Replacement Project As Requested By The Department Of Public Works, Division Of Highway Engineering. The intent of these specifications is to furnish information to responsible proposers for the purpose of obtaining proposals to retain a NYS licensed engineer to provide construction inspection services as outlined in Section 4: Scope of Services for the culvert replacement project on CR405 over Eight Mile Creek, being located in the Town of Westerlo. See attached site map for location. The culvert replacement project involves the removal of the exiting CMP culverts, replacement with a three-sided concrete box culvert with wingwalls and associated earthwork, roadwork, guiderail and striping. The design engineer will procure all required permits, including any environmental permits required to complete the project (i.e. NYSOPRHP, NYSDEC, U.S. Army Corps, etc.) so no further effort is necessary by proposers under this RFP. In addition, the culvert replacement project design, any existing construction plans and/or right-of-way plans (as available) for the existing culvert may be viewed at the Department of Public Works, Highway Engineering Division in Voorheesville, New York (by appointment).
