Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reference number : 1773181 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-11-03 Université du Québec à Montréal, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, having its registered office at 1430 Saint-Denis Street, H2X 3J8, Montreal, Quebec, is calling for tenders for the redevelopment of the premises housing the Financial and Supply Services, located on the 4th floor of Pavilion Athanase-David (D) located at 1430 Saint-Denis Street. The project consists of a complete reconfiguration of the layouts within the Financial Services compound, which requires the demolition of all premises, doors and frames, floor finishes and suspended ceilings. The distribution of mechanical, electrical and fire protection services is therefore significantly modified to meet the new developments. Replacement of mechanical components and lighting is also planned for the project. The project also includes the redistribution of network services in the new development. The Contractor must consider that the building is occupied, as is the other half of the4th floor, and that users will continue their activities throughout the duration of the work. The Contractor shall act in such a way as to minimize inconvenience to users and personnel. The Contractor shall ensure that users have access to the premises and facilities in a safe, healthy and seamless environment. This mandate includes all development work, demolition, protection, patching and all other work necessary for the complete completion of the Work. And all related works such as: development and cleaning of the site, temporary protection works, repairs and modifications to existing interior fittings. All jointing, repair, drilling work, required for the work hereunder is included. For the following work, detailed in the plans and in the various sections of the mechanical specifications, the associated subcontractors must individually submit their price to the Contractor. The following work components must therefore each have a separate subcontractor: Works concerned: 1- Testing, adjustment and balancing of ventilation-air conditioning, plumbing and heating-cooling systems and networks. Refer to the mechanical specifications for acceptable subcontractors for this discipline; 2- Insulating ventilation-air conditioning, plumbing and heating-cooling systems and networks; 3- Plumbing work; 4- Ventilation-air conditioning and refrigeration work; 5- Fire protection work - sprinkler; 6- Automatic regulation work. The Contractor will be fully responsible for controlling access to the site and the construction site. In situations where the Contractor must carry out work elsewhere in the building or in cases where it is necessary to make cuts in electromechanical services, it will do so outside the normal hours of occupancy by users, according to the Owner's authorizations. Finally, the Contractor will have full responsibility for the safety and temporary protection of the site. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
