Site work for a transportation facility in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The DuPage Airport Authority intends to hire a qualified plumber to install domestic water backflow preventers at three (3) aircraft hangar locations pursuant to IEPA, State and local code. Location and scope of work are as follows: Planemasters Hangar - 32W611 Tower Road - West Chicago, IL 60185 Remove the existing 8" single check valve with shut offs in line to the existing fire sprinkler system and install a new 8" RPDA backflow device with double check valves. Install a new 1" RPZ backflow device in line to the domestic water with double check valves. Install a new 3/4" RDPA backflow device with double check valves in line to domestic water. Per local jurisdiction no drain is necessary if utilizing double check valves. Once complete, test and certify the devices and put into service. Hangar E20-32W731 Tower Road - West Chicago, IL 60185 Install a new 1" RPZ backflow device in line to the domestic water. Once complete, test and certify the device and put into service. No floor drain exists in room, contractor will need to core a hole through wall for relief discharge line. Hangar E17-32W651 Tower Road - West Chicago, IL 60185 Install a new 1" RPZ backflow device in line to the domestic water. Once complete, test and certify the device and put into service. No floor drain exists in room, contractor will need to core a hole through wall for relief discharge line (increase size to handle waterflow) or tie into furnace condensate line. Work Hours All work to be performed M-F between the hours of 7AM-5PM and access coordinated with the DuPage Airport Authority. Permits Contractor responsible for obtaining all permits necessary to complete this project. Permit fees will be paid for by the DuPage Airport Authority. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required for this project. PERFORMANCE AND OTHER BONDS Bidder who is awarded the Contract shall be required to provide a Performance Bond the total amount of the Contract Sum within five (5) days of the contract award. The Bidder who is awarded the Contract shall be required to provide all other bonds required by the Contract.
