The buffer is designed to screen the off-site storage facility located along the north and west property lines. This will include but is not limited to all plantings, hydration mats, mulch, and work. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, construction drawings and local code. - BACKGROUND The Capital Region Airport Commission, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia (herein referred to as "the Commission"), invites interested, qualified firms to submit bids for the STORAGE BUILDING BUFFER LANDSCAPING project at the Richmond International Airport (herein referred to as "Airport"). The services will be administered by the Commission's President and Chief Executive Officer and designated staff and will commence following the execution of a contract. A. PURPOSE The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to solicit bids from qualified, experienced, and licensed companies to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to substantially complete the work in accordance with the terms and conditions, and scope of work as described herein for the Capital Region Airport Commission. B.
