Renovation of an educational facility in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,455-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
All questions must be in writing and should be directed to Jon Laing, Chief Financial Officer at: Projects@lansingschools.net, no later than 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2023 All bids/proposals must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship with the Board of Education and selected staff. Bids must include the completed statement to be accepted or considered. A bid bond is required with this bid in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Certified payrolls are required with each invoice or pay application. A performance, labor and materials bond will be required to cover 100% of the project. TIME FOR PERFORMANCE OF WORK A. All work related to the cafeteria is to be substantially complete and ready for occupancy no later than November 29, 2024. B. All work related to the parking lot and bus loop is to be substantially complete prior to the start of 2024-25 school year. The Lansing School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to accept the proposal or portion of the proposal that, in their opinion, best serves the interests of the Lansing School District.
