The project includes the preparation and installation of a park entry sign and fencing for the Eldon & Alta Earthman Park sign. The proposed signage location is at the Southwest corner of Carey Road and Smiley Road in Celina, TX. The City strongly requests that bidders submit responses electronically. Electronic bidding eliminates errors, unnecessary work, and is friendlier to the environment. The owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $109,000. The Project has an expected duration of 30 working days. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%), from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and be acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The Contractor shall take specific affirmative actions to ensure equal employment opportunity.
