Any Certified Check or Cashier's Check submitted in lieu of a Bid Bond shall be drawn on a solvent bank or trust company, made payable to Lee County Board of County. Performance and Payment Bond: As further described in the Contract, the successful Bidder shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Awarded Contract amount within seven (7) calendar days after notification by the County of the approval to award the Contract, the costs of which are to be paid by the successful Bidder. The County reserves the right, before recommending any Award, to inspect the facilities and organization; or to take any other necessary action, such as background checks, to determine if the Bidder is satisfactorily able to perform and reserves the right to reject submission packages where evidence submitted, or investigation and evaluation indicates an inability for the Bidder to perform. Insurance shall be provided by the Awarded Bidder pursuant to the Specifications provided herein and/or in the Contract. Prior to execution of the Contract, a certificate of insurance (COI) complying with the Solicitation Documents shall be provided by the Bidder.
