The work consists of removing existing pavement markings; installing new pavement markings, high visibility crosswalks, and striped bulbouts; refreshing or installing new red curb; installing new street signs with associated posts; and installing rectangular rapid-flashing beacon (RRFB) assembly with associated street trenching and electrical connections The Contractor shall possess a Class A license, or a C-32 license prior to submitting a bid. No contractors and subcontractors may be listed on the bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.5(a)]. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement).
