The City of Liberty Hill, herein after "City", seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm or Corporation, herein after "Respondent", to furnish, install and provide all labor and materials required for the construction of approximately 1,861 S.Y. of 5'' concrete sidewalk and 173 L.F. of concrete curb (TY II), curb ramps, saw cutting and removing existing pavement and concrete driveways, erosion control, tree demolition and removal, concrete curb removal and other items, as more fully described in the Construction Plans and Project Specifications. Successful respondent shall deliver to City both a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond no later than the 10th day after the agreement has been executed both for the Project price. Penal sums for both bonds shall each be equal to the agreed upon Project price. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Liberty Hill or negotiable US Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of bid bond. Liquidated damages shall apply in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for each day past the agreed upon delivery date every month. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses, or delete any portion of the response, or to accept any response deemed most advantageous, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the response received that best serves the interest and at the sole discretion of the City.
