“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” The Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management services for the San Gabriel River Center and Gardens Project (Project) adjacent to the San Gabriel River Park in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County. The Project is located between the 605 Freeway and the San Gabriel River. The objective of this RFP is to select a Consultant that is best qualified to perform the work described in this RFP. Consultant shall become an integral part of the Project Team and will advise on the development and progress of construction processes on behalf of WCA. WCA has developed the following scope of services. Optional tasks may be provided and should be noted in the Proposal. All project and contract related questions and questions concerning this Request for Proposal (RFP) should be directed to Claire Bowin, Deputy Executive Officer, in writing at cbowin@wca.ca.gov Questions must be received no later November 1, 2023. In the interest of fairness to all potential contractors, the WCA will not respond to individual requests for information regarding the RFP. Responses to all questions will be posted on the WCA's website by 5:00 PM November 7, 2023. WCA reserves the right to terminate the selection proceedings at any time. WCA does not guarantee the number of services being requested. This project has an estimated value of $150K- $200K. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
