Description

Site work for a civil project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bounded by the end of Mokapu Boulevard, Naval Reservation boundary, Kailua Bay and Kawai Nui Drainage Canal, the area of project is about 42 acres. Land acquisition for easements is estimated to be 25,000 square feet. For the parcels that cannot be served by gravity sewer service, either individual low pressure sewer pumps will be needed at each parcel, or a central wastewater pump station may be needed requiring a site area of 7,500 square feet. As of March 25, 2025, this project is included in the City and County of Honolulu Fiscal Year 2025-2030 CIP and funding is allocated for construction in FY 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
