Per Public Contract Code Section 7103, the awarded contractor shall provide a payment equal to one-hundred-percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract if the awarded contractor's total bid amount exceeds $25,000.00. The payment must be printed on Standard Form 807 (STD 807), and must include the contract number and the description of work to be performed under the contract. The payment must be executed by the Contractor and a corporate surety authorized to transact a general surety business in the State of California.
