Bid is for installation of electrical infrastructure and bus charger for the district's electric buses. Note: Transformer and wire supplied by AEP. The busus charger is supplied by the district. The Eastern Local School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the date set for the opening thereof. Furnish and install underground 5” PVC conduit with a pull line from the existing AEP tap cabinet to the designated location of the new AEP transformer by the brown storage building behind the upper parking lot. • Furnish and install a precast concrete pad and vault as required by AEP for the new transformer to be mounted on. • Furnish and install a rack, metering cabinet, a meter base, and an 800 amp, 480/277 volt, 3 phase 4-wire, weatherproof, service entrance rated main distribution panel with an 800 amp main breaker and 4 each 175 amp 3 pole branch circuit breakers to feed up to 4 charging stations. • Furnish and install 800 amp, 480/277 volt, 3 phase 4-wire underground feeder conduit and wiring from the new AEP transformer to the 800 amp MDP. • Furnish and install 2 concrete bases approximately 20 feet apart for 2 bus charging stations. • Furnish and install 4 underground PVC branch conduits from the MDP. 2 to each of the concrete bases. • Furnish and install 2 branch circuits for the new dual charging station and cap off the other 2 for future use. • Install the one dual charger (provided by the district) on the base, energize and test for proper voltage and phasing. • All trenching, boring, backfill, concrete, etc., to be provided by the electrical contractor. • New transformer and service wire from existing tap to new transformer provided by AEP. • Dual bus charger provided by the school district.
