Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Greenwood, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work in this section includes furnishing and installing repairs to, and partial replacement of, a wood strip gymnasium floor system consisting, in general, of wood sub-flooring, maple flooring, vapor barrier, sanding, sealers, finishes and games lines. A. Flooring Contractor shall be a firm with a minimum of five (5) years experience in installation of maple flooring systems and have Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association Certification. B. Flooring shall be stored on the premises a minimum of seven days before installation commences, or as required for acclimation. Final determination as to acclimations will be determined by the Flooring Contractor. C. All flooring bundles should be broken and loosely piled to acclimate the flooring to moisture conditions in the building. Lander University is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the damaged flooring of the PEES building gym as specified herein. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
