The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the professional services of a qualified and experienced design team for a combined fire station and affordable/mixed income housing project. This work will involve several phases, beginning with the facility program plan, a conceptual architectural design, site design, renderings, and preliminary cost estimates for the construction of a new facility. Please be aware that this project is a partnership between the town's Fire and Affordable Housing and Community Connections departments. The selected firm will need to work with both development teams to create a cohesive site design with beneficial connections to the broader area. Questions concerning this Request for Qualifications must be submitted in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. on November 8, 2023, to Ryan Campbell via e-mail at rcampbell@townofchapelhill.org. All responses to submitted questions will be published in the form of an addendum on online by 5:00 pm November 17, 2023. Any questions concerning the advertisement should be directed to Purchasing at (919) 969-5022. The Town of Chapel Hill reserves the right to reject any and all Statements of Qualifications.
