Mendota Township High School #280 is requesting bids for snow removal service for all drives and parking areas. All paved/asphalt areas are included. Snow will be removed when two or more inches accumulate. MHS will be responsible for moving piles of snow. The owner/operator must be insured for snow removal and provide the district proof of insurance. Bids must include the following: Please state your dollar per hour costs. Contractors must start no later than 6:00 a.m. and complete all snow removal by 7:00 a.m. on school days. If snow continues to fall past 7:00 a.m., it is the responsibility of the contractor to contact the Director of Building and Grounds for direction. Also, the District designee will contact the contractor to communicate the needs for additional snow removal anytime during the day. Submit proof of insurance with your bid. Bids should include the name of the owner of equipment, operator(s) of equipment, equipment to be used, contact information (name and phone number) of bidder, and signature of bidder. Failure to remove snow before the aforementioned times when school is in session will constitute a loss of this bid. Mendota High School Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
