Final Date for Questions: April 11, 2024 Renovated child care space, on the existing JJ O'Neill Catholic School site (the Project). The existing school must remain operational during construction. Project 1 - New school addition and demolition - JJ O'Neill Catholic School: - The new school addition will be built on the existing JJ O'Neill Catholic School at 240 Marilyn Avenue, Napanee, Ontario; - The new school will be designed to accommodate 331 students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8, and a 3-room child care; - The two-storey addition will be approximately 2,500 m2 gross floor area; - The existing one-storey building (plus mechanical penthouse) to be renovated is approximately 1,600m2 gross floor area; - The new facility will, in general, consist of 14 classrooms, and 3 child care spaces, plus all ancillary spaces; - The existing school must remain in operation for the duration of construction; - The Relocatable Classroom Module must be demolished at a time agreed upon with the Board; and, - Planned completion date for the school is September 2025, with Childcare completed by January 2026.
