Demolition and site work for a civil project in Hondo, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work includes refurbishment of Spatz Well and Pump, installation of Pump Building, demolition of existing Pump Well House Foundation and Ground Storage Tank, and construction of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 12" waterline along with associated valves and instruments. Work also includes all electrical upgrades associated with the project. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The City of Hondo, Medina County, Texas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. All questions regarding this project shall be directed to the Engineer via email. Questions will be answered via addenda, which will be transmitted to all bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance bond shall include without limitation guarantees that work done under the contract will be completed and performed according to the approved plans and specifications and in accordance with sound construction principles and practices. The payment bond and performance bond shall be in a penal sum of not less than 100 percent of contract price and remain in effect for one year beyond the date of approval by the Engineer of the Owner. The contractor shall utilize a surety company that is authorized to do business in Texas in accordance with Surety Bond and Related instruments, Chapter 3503 of the Insurance Code.
