The City of Canton, Georgia invites the submission of proposals from experienced and qualified contractors. In accordance with requirements of the City of Canton and the State of Georgia, all submitted proposals shall include an e-verify form which is attached to this proposal. All contractors shall comply with the requirements stated in the GDOT Title-VI rules and regulations. Participation from qualified disadvantaged business enterprises is encouraged. Procurement of construction bids based on predetermined engineered rendering of an outdoor stage at Brown Park. Questions concerning the request for proposals should be directed in writing and submitted to the Parks and Recreation Manager, Adam Dodson, via email scott.hooper@cantonga.gov Questions must be received no later than one week before the proposal due date. All questions and responding answers will be posted to the City web site at least 5 days prior to the proposal deadline. The scope of work for this project entails the construction of an outdoor stage at Brown Park. The project includes various design options for the exterior of the stage, as outlined in the predetermined engineered plans. Proposals for all 3 options for this project. The selected contractor is responsible for providing the expertise and labor necessary to complete this project in accordance with the predetermined engineered plans and within the contracted timeframe. The project manager should work closely with the City of Canton project lead to make decisions regarding the specific exterior design option. 1. Stage Construction o Erect the outdoor stage structure in accordance with the predetermined engineered plans. o Ensure the stage is structurally sound and safe for public use. 2. Exterior Design Options o The engineered plans provide several exterior design options for the stage. o Attached are all finishes for all 3 options. o Please attached bid proposals on all 3 options. 3. Material Selection o Procure and use the specified materials for the chosen exterior design option. 4. Site Preparation o Prepare the construction site as necessary, including clearing, grading, and ensuring proper drainage. 5. Utilities and Amenities o Incorporate any utilities or amenities as required by the selected exterior design. 6. Compliance and Safety o Ensure that all construction adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental considerations. 7. Project Schedule o Develop and adhere to a project schedule, with milestones and completion dates for each exterior design option.
