The City of Cassville, Missouri (hereinafter referred to as the City) invites and will accept bids from entities and persons for the disposal and recycling of residential and commercial/industrial waste in the City of Cassville. The work under this contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and services to perform all work and services necessary to satisfactorily collect all garbage, refuse, rubbish and recyclables from residential and collect all garbage, refuse, rubbish from commercial units/business that have requested service, located within the corporate limits of the City of Cassville, Missouri, transport same to approved disposal sites or locations, and perform all other work or services incidental to refuse collection and disposal services. The terms of this contract shall be determined by the City's governing body for three (3) years with an option to extend the contract for an additional three (3) year period thereafter. This contract shall be effective upon the execution of the contract and performance of such contract shall begin on a date to be determined by the City's governing body, on or about January 1, 2024. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in bids, and to select the bid or bids which are in the opinion of the City in the best interests of the citizens of the City. The City will evaluate Bids based on price, the financial responsibility of the Bidder, the Bidder's technology, the Bidder's equipment, how the Bidder has met its legal responsibilities; the quality, promptness and cleanliness of the Bidder's services to the City and others; tipping and recycling contracts and relationships that will insure performance and any other relevant factors. Any alteration, erasure, or interlineation of the contract documents and the bid shall render the accompanying bid irregular and subject to rejection by the City. The City intends that the Contract shall be awarded within forty-five (45) days following the date that bids are publicly opened and read.
