A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Housing Authority of the City of San Antonio, Texas, a/k/a Opportunity Home San Antonio ("Opportunity Home") and its affiliated entities, is a public housing agency created by resolution of the City of San Antonio in 1938 pursuant to the Texas Housing Authorities Law (now Chapter 392 of the Texas Local Government Code) and federal law. OpportunityHome is a unit of government and its functions are essential governmental functions. The property of Opportunity Home is used for essential public and governmental purposes and is exempt from all taxes, including sales tax on all its purchases of supplies and services. Opportunity Home San Antonio and its affiliates are seeking proposals from independent contractors with demonstrated professional competence and experience to submit proposals which include labor, materials and equipment for the installation and ongoing services for eight (8) Level II dual port electric vehicle charging stations at Opportunity Home central office. Opportunity Home reserves the right to modify this schedule at their discretion. Notification of changes in connection with this solicitation will be made available to all interested parties via an emailed Addendum. A site plan is attached to show the locations of each of the 8 Level II, Dual Port stations. 1.2 SUMMARY A. Scope: Provide design and engineering, labor, material, equipment, related services, and supervision required, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, fabrication, erection, installation, and ongoing services (je. software licenses) for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations as required for the complete performance of the work, and as shown on the Site Drawing and as herein specified. B. Contractors are responsible for providing any plans, specifications, and details to apply for city permits. Site and configuration plans developed will be the property of Opportunity Home upon completion of the project installation. Satellite generated site plans are the only ones available by Opportunity Home. C. The stations will be for fleet (once implemented) and employee use only. Contractors will provide a solution that will allow our employees to utilize the ports while keeping track of their usage/costs. (i.e. a personal identification number PIN, fob, etc.) D. The cloud-based software solution must be able to provide Opportunity Home with real time information as to identification of employee users and timing of use. The stations will not be open to the public. Contractor will provide a software system that will allow our selected users to access the charging ports. E. Section Includes: The work specified in this Section includes, but shall not be limited to, complete, electric vehicle charging stations as indicated on the Drawing and as specified herein.
