Rehabilitation of Meter Chambers - Phase II. Each Bidder must submit with its Bid, Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond executed by the Principal and Surety Company Attorney in Fact and witnessed to and attested with an appropriate Power of Attorney attached, or a cashier's check, or treasurer's check or certified check or money order made payable to the order of the Treasurer, Middlesex County Utilities Authority and in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, not to exceed $20,000.00. The contract bond(s) for this RFB include the following and must be from a surety company acceptable to the Authority and satisfying the requirements of the RFB: - Performance Bond - Labor and Materials Payment Bond - General Maintenance Bond - Environmental Maintenance Bond The Successful Bidder will be required to present to the Authority the approved contract bonds duly executed and be prepared to execute the Contract within twenty-one (21) days of the date of receipt of the Notice of Contract Award. The Successful Bidder must comply with the Project Plan developed by the Middlesex County Utilities Authority, that is part of the Contract, to fulfill SED utilization. The Authority reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or reject any and all Bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., as well as any other applicable law.
