construction of the 775 Raider Drive Building Buildout for Cleveland City Schools, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312 Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, for the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. In-lieu-of a bid bond a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, made payable to the Owner, will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price THE SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT IS A PARTIAL RENOVATION TO THE FIRST FLOOR AND TWO TOILET ROOMS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF AN EXISTING 4 STORY BUILDING. A NEW SECURED LOBBY LEADS OPEN WAITING SPACES AND A MEETING SPACE FOR SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS. A NEW RATED WALL WILL SEPARATE ASSEMBLY SPACES FROM THE BUILDING OCCUPANCY OF THE REST OF THE BUILDING. EXISTING BANK VAULTS WILL REMAIN AND BE REPURPOSED AS STORAGE ROOMS. TOILET ROOMS WILL BE ENLARGED TO HANDLE LARGER OCCUPANT LOADS.
