Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility WARF Interior and Entrance Plaza Water Damage Reconstruction. Question Deadline 11/13/2023 at 4:30 PM ET. The professional opinions in this report are based on GTM's experience designing buildings using similar type construction methods and materials, review of the provided construction documents, and observations during a site visit to the building. The Town of Warrenton is accepting proposals from qualified, Class A contractors to restore the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility's WARF interior building conditions and restore the entrance plaza and green roof planting area damaged by water intrusion subsequent to an underground water line break. General statement of work prepared by Land Planning and Design Associates, Inc. Unless otherwise specified herein and subject to the Town or Project Inspector discretion, should Contractor fail to complete work by the date specified, Contractor shall be subject to pay the stipulated sum of $600.00 as liquidated damages for each and every work day the project fails to be complete. answered and uploaded to the Town's website. Building Engineer Phone: 540-935-6790 800 Waterloo Road Warrenton, VA 20186 email: jbruck@warrentonva.gov Assess water infiltration leak points which may involve removal of ceiling finishes in areas; - Soil excavation to the depth level of the sidewall plumbing penetrations; - Excavation and waterproofing material testing of the green roof area; - Monitor building movement to ensure visible cracking will not worsen with ongoing conditions. - Repair cracks in foundation and walls; - Remove, replace, and/or repair all interior finishes with water damage; - Removal and storage of existing entrance plaza pavers for subbase inspection and regrading; - Removal of in-ground lighting and bollards; -Inspection of existing flag poles; - Installation of new post indicator valve; pavers; flagpole lighting; raised concrete crosswalk; ADA curb ramp; 100 linear feet of CG-6 curb; - Repair any resulting damage to parking lot; - Replace concrete sidewalk and tie into existing sidewalk; - Install metal ADA handrails - Replace disposed of landscaping and greenery with like-kind
