Q & A deadline: Nov 06, 2023 5:00:00 PM EST For approximately 10 years, the City of Miami Beach (the "City") has had an agreement for the provision of various ongoing electrical services on an "as needed" basis. The current contract, pursuant to ITB 2019-011-ND, expires on February 28, 2024. In order to consider a replacement contract, the City is seeking bids from qualified electrical contractor(s) to provide the City with ongoing electrical services on a time and materials basis, as further detailed herein. The estimated budget for these services is $695,000 annually. Electrical services are defined as the maintenance, repair, or alteration of electrical systems, including power, lighting, electrical-related fixtures, and any other components per drawings and specifications, which an authorized City representative will provide. Services may be required due to routine maintenance/improvements or in response to emergency events. Routine maintenance services will be compensated in accordance with Group 1. Emergency services will be compensated in accordance with Group 2. The goal of this ITB is to award a contract for ongoing routine maintenance, repair or alteration services. Minor electrical projects with a cost not to exceed $200,000 may also be completed through the resulting contract.
