The project consist of construction of a New Classroom addition at the High Pointe Elementary campus, which includes an Safe room which will comply with ICC 500 requirements for a high wind event safe room. The work consists of, but is not limited to, sitework, new Construction of CMU and metal stud walls, structural steel framing, concrete, TPO roof systems, FEMA 361 rated windows and doors, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and interior finish work. The project is located at 900 N Cheyenne Rd Nixa, MO 65714 in Christian county, Missouri. Missouri Prevailing wage rates will apply to the work. Each Bid proposal shall be accompanied by a 5% bid security in the form of a Cashier's check, a certified check, or a bid bond executed by the bidder and surety company. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and may waive any or all informalities in the bid process. The Owner's decision regarding the approval/denial of bids are based on varies factors such as, but not limited to, quality, time constraints, and service. All decisions will be in the best interest of the district and shall be final. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids. Bidder and any Subcontractors must follow and enforce all requirements of Missouri's Prevailing wage laws.
