Under the terms of the resulting contract, the selected contractor will provide Demolition and Removal Services, for the GDOT Project identified. The anticipated scope of work for the project/contract is included in Exhibit I. Compliance with all pertinent regulations (State/Federal/Local/Industry) is required. It is the responsibility of the respondent to obtain knowledge of rules and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work identified herein. GDOT reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of GDOT. The winning firm will be notified in writing via email and must provide the required Performance Bond within five (5) business days of receiving the purchase order. If the Contractor does not provide the required Performance Bond by the deadline, the Contractor may be deemed non-responsive and the Department may rescind the award and purchaser order. At that point, the next lowest bidder will be notified via e-mail of the Department's intent to accept the next lowest bid and the five (5) business day requirement to provide the Performance Bond will be upheld.
